Kips Bay Decorator Show House - New York

Proud Sponsor of the 49th Annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House

Benefitting Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, the show house features a wide range of Vaughan lighting and furnishings displayed throughout the inspiring designs of the twenty-four participating designers.

Aligning with our core values, supporting the show house gives Vaughan the opportunity to be of service in our New York City flagship community. We are able to do what we do best, which is to supply luxury lighting to top designers from around the world as they create beautiful rooms. In turn, the show house efforts and proceeds raise critical funds for New York City children in need.

Since 1915, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club's mission has been to improve and elevate the lives of New York City's children who are economically, socially, or recreationally disadvantaged. Each year, the club offers essential programing to more than 10,000 young people between the ages of 6 and 18 at ten locations throughout the Bronx, with innovative afterschool and enrichment programs aimed to help them reach their potential and experience success.

Annually since 1973, celebrated interior designers are chosen to transform a luxury Manhattan property into an elegant exhibition of fine lighting, furnishings, art, and technology. Over the course of four decades, this project has grown into a must-see event for thousands of design lovers and is toured by 15,000 visitors from around the world.

The 2024 house is located at 125 East 65th Street, a prime example of the magnificent townhouses and mansions that New York City's gentry called home at the turn of the century. The townhouse was designed in 1904 by Charles Platt, a prolific architect known for also designing houses for the Roosevelts and Astors.

Vaughan highlights in the show house include rooms designed by Alan Tanksley, Barbara Ostrom, Benjamin Vandiver, Lucinda Loya, Beth Diana Smith, Patrick Mele, Phillip Thomas and Vanessa De Leon
